Travel buddy: Lomo Instant

Es gibt nicht viele Dinge, die ich auf meine Reisen immer mit mir trage (außer natürlich Karl, wenn es möglich ist). Aber meine Lomo Instant Honolulu wäre einer dieser Gegenstände.

In meinen Post Wanderlust Cinque Terre konntet ihr bereits sehen, dass ich gerne diese alten, retro Polaroids mache. Ich finde diese Bilder haben einen ganz besonderen Charakter, zugegeben weiß man auch nicht immer ganz genau wie sie aussehen werden. Aber das ist ja grade der Fun Faktor an der Sache. Eine kleine Erinnerung, die auch in ein paar Jahren noch besonders sein wird und die man direkt in der Hand halten kann.

Lomografie hat eine ganze Reihe an Polaroid Kameras in ihrem Shop. Darunter mein Model, die Lomo Instant Honolulu. Die Lomo Instant gibt es in ganz vielen verschiedenen Designs, für jeden Geschmack ist was dabei. Es gibt auch noch die Lomo Instant Wide. Mit diesem Model könnt ihr breitere Bilder machen. Beide Kameras sind mit den Polaroidfilmen von Fuji kompatibel (die auch für die Fuji Instaxx genutzt werden).

Wenn ihr euch mit dem Handling der Lomo Instant schwer tut kann ich euch außerdem den Lomo Instant Automat empfehlen. Bei dieser Kamera müsst ihr die Einstellungen nicht selbst vornehmen, sondern das macht die Cam für euch. Auch hier kommen die kleineren Fuji Filme zum Einsatz.

There are not much things, which I carry with me overtime I travel (Karl, of course, but only if possible). But my Lomo Instant Honolulu would be one of these things. 

In my post Wanderlust Cinque Terre you could already see that I love these old school, retro polaroids. I think there pictures have an own character, you never know how they will turn out. And thats the fun about them. Capturing little moment and keeping them and even have them instantly with you. 

Lomografie offers quite a range of polaroid cameras in their shop. One of them is my Lomo Instant Honolulu. The Lomo Instant is available in different designs. Very nice ones and I am sure everybody will find their model there. The Lomo Instant Wide is another model but taking bigger polaroids. Both cameras can be used with the Fuji polaroid film (which are also used for the Fuji Instaxx). 

If you are having difficulties with the settings of the Lomo Instant I can recommend the Lomo Instant Automat. You don’t have to do the settings yourself with this one, it is smart and does that part for you and you can also use the Fuji films with it.
