Fall Trends Edit – Florals, Polka dots, Gingham print

Wir ihr bereits gesehen habt, handelt es sich bei dieser Style Edit um Bilder, die angelehnt an das Editorial Sheer Winds sind. Die Looks waren einfach zu schön und zu aktuell, als das sie nicht einen Blogpost wert wären. Hier also eine kleine Zusammenfassung der Herbsttrends 2017.

As you might have noticed this style edit consists of outtakes from the editorial Sheer Winds. The looks were just too perfect and beautiful and worth an own blogpost. So here is my fall trend recap for 2017. 

 

Polka Dots

Das Punktmuster ist ein zeitloser Modetrend, der sich immer mal wieder blicken lässt. Sie auch diesen Sommer. Aber die gute Nachricht ist – der Trend bleibt uns im Herbst/Winter erhalten. Die online Shops von Zara, Runwayscout, NA-KD, Nastygal usw. sind voll von Stücken in dem süßen Muster. Die Dots gibt es in verschiedenen Größen und Farbkombis, wobei die schwarz weise oder rot weiße die klassische Kombination ist.

The dot print is a timeless fashion trend that is kind of always there from now and then. So it was this summer – but good news – the trend will remain for fall/winter. Online Shops like Zara, Runwayscout, NA-KD, Nastgal etc. are full of designs with these sweet dots. The polka dot print comes in different colours and the dots in different sizes. But the black and white and white and red combination is the most classy one. 

 

Florale Prints // Floral prints

Mein Favorit der Trends von 2017 und einfach wunderschön. Die Floralen Prints gab es in Australien schon lange und ich mochte schon immer den boho-romantik Stil. Endlich haben sie es nach Deutschland geschafft und die Varianten waren zahlreich vorhanden. Und ich bin super happy, dass es sie auch im Herbst geben wird. Dieses Maxi Kleid von Zara ist der beste Beweis, dass es auch ein Herbsttrend ist, der etwas frische in die kühlen Tage zaubert.

My fav trend this year and just beautiful. The floral bouquets and print have been in season in Australia for a long time and I always loved the boho-romantic style. Finally they made it to Germany and we had so many styles to choose from. I am super happy that they will remain this fall. This maxi dress from Zara is the best proof that it is a fall trend making your colder days more colorful. 

 

 

Overknees

I habe mich lange nicht getraut Overknees zu tragen, weil ich Angst hatte, es könnte „billig“ wirken. Dabei ist der Stiefel ein sehr schicker Style, den man einfach nur richtig kombinieren muss. Auch diesen Herbst sind die Overknees angesagt. Wichtig ist, nicht zu klein kaufen, sonst sieht es etwas gequetscht aus. Und am besten mit klassischen Teilen kombinieren, dann wird es niemals „billig“ wirken.

I didn’t dare wearing overknees for a long time, because I was scared that it might look „cheap“. Actually that boot is very chic and you just have to combine it the right way. This fall overtness are again up to date. But note that you should not get them too small, because that might look too tight and try to combine them with classy pieces. Then it will never look „cheap“ I promise. 

 

Rüschen // Ruffles

Von Rüschen konnten wir im Sommer nicht genug bekommen und das wird auch erst einmal im Herbst so bleiben. Wichtig ist hierbei, dass ihr euch farblich der kühleren Jahreszeit anpasst. Mittlerweile gibt es viele Blusen in herbstlichen Farben (Ocker, Gelb, Smaragd, Lila) mit Rüschen. Diese kombiniert mit einer Jeans sind der perfekte Herbstlook. Verspielt und absolut im Trend. Aber auch Kleider (lang oder kurz) mit Rüschen können im Herbst noch getragen werden.

We could not get enough of ruffles this summer and that will be the same in fall. Important is that you adapt to the colder season with regards to the colors of your clothing. H&M or Zara, Massimo Dutti and other shops include ruffle blouses in colors like beige, emerald or yellow in their range and combined with a jeans we are looking at a great fall look here. But of course you can still wear ruffle dresses (whether short or longer) this fall.
