I love summer – you know me. Not just because of beach and sun and surf, but also for its fashion. Because summer fashion is always colorful and fresh.

And the same goes for my make-up. I love sun kissed skin, glow and fresh colors.

So this time I want to show you my current lipstick favorites (brands and shades). Those are the colors I currently use.

If you know me you will find some natural hues in this collection, some pink and soft pink and red (the strongest color I use). So let’s start:

• Dior Addict Lipstick

I found this one at the airport because I also love duty free shopping (best way to get even more excited for the holidays, I will write another post about this topic soon). I choose color 441 – Frimousse. I love this color because it is a mix between soft pink and coral and the lipstick itself is very creamy and perfect for summer lips.

• MAC PLENTY OF POUT PLUMPING LIPSTICK

I love this kind of lipsticks because they are very creamy and hydrate your lips, aren’t too strong and look natural and they plump your lips naturally. My current fav colour is Crazy Lush. A very light red with a bit of coral.

• L’oreal Color Riche Shine

Again, the colour riche shine series is very creamy with a shiny finish. Just what you need for summer and natural, easy looks. My fav colors are currently: 245 – High on Craze; 109 – Pursue Pretty; 111 – Instaheaven. These three are very similar, very soft pink, a bit of orange in 109 an very natural. They make your lips look perfect for the beach, too.

• MAC Matte Lipstick

Matte lipsticks are always stronger and an eye-catcher than shiny ones. Because their pigments are stronger and they either make your lip look fuller or not (at least thats what I experienced). I am not wearing a lot of matte lipsticks, but I love my three colors from Mac: A26 – Sweet Venom; Lady Danger; Candy Yum-Yum. Lady Danger is a strong red and Candy Yum-Yum is a bright pink. Both look amazing on tanned skin or if you only want your lips to be the make-up highlight.

• MAC Cremesheen Lipstick

A creamy, balmy Lipstick formula with a comforting feel, medium buildable coverage and a semi-glossy finish and my fav color is A56 – Peach Blossom. It is so natural but looks so good, it plumps my lips and it just feels so nice.

• MAC Lustre Lipstick

A lightweight Lipstick formula with easy glide, sheer-to-medium buildable coverage and a lustrous finish. I am using A85 – Flamingo, a mix of soft pink and orange (just like the color of real Flamingos).

• Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet

I would say my current favorite because it is so durable on your lips and the color is so bright and strong, even if you use it just a bit. My color is 42 – L’Eclatante – a strong and bright pink (from the picture). I love Chanel in general for the fresh and vibrant colors.

I am also a big fan of the colors of the „Rouge Allure INKMatter Fluid Lipsticks“ and the „Rouge Coco Lip Blush“ (which you can use as lipgloss and for your cheeks as blush).

So these were my fav lipsticks and colors at the moment. Which ones are yours and keep in mind – natural is always the best choice.
