Jeder hat ab und an das Verlangen, mal wieder Kind zu sein, sorglos zu sein und einfach Spaß zu haben, nicht darüber nachzudenken, was Andere von einen Denken und einfach den Moment zu genießen.

Everyone of us gets tired of being an adult sometimes and just wants to have fun like a child again. Just forget about the troubles and enjoy the moment. Well at Disneyland Paris you definitely have a chance to do all that and just have tons of fun.
Auch meine Freundinnen und ich hatte diese Idee, mal einen Tag etwas verrücktes zu tun und wieder Kind zu sein. Wir haben uns also überlegt für ein Wochenende nach Paris zu fahren, erst einmal weil Paris eine wunderschöne Stadt ist und – weil wir ins Disneyland Paris gehen wollten.
My friends and I had the idea of having a weekend in Paris and we just had to stop at Disneyland Paris this time. So we spend an entire Saturday at the park.

Also ging es Anfang Oktober für uns Freitag los nach Paris, damit wir den kompletten Samstag im Disneyland Paris verbringen konnten.
Mittlerweile besteht Disneyland Paris aus zwei Themenparks: Disneyland Park und Walt Disney Studios Park.
Disneyland Paris is actually split in two theme parks: Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park.
Ein paar praktische Tipps für euch direkt zu Anfang:
- es macht am meisten Spaß, wenn ihr euch ein wenig bequemer kleidet und vor allem, wenn ihr euch ein wenig verkleidet ;) wir habe uns auch mit Disney T-shirts ausgestattet, sieht auch schöner auf Bildern aus. Alternativ könnt ihr euch ein paar Goodies in den Stores vor Ort kaufen.
- Bring euch reichlich zu trinken mit oder eine Flasche, die ihr an den Wasserstationen im Park auffüllen könnt.
- Bring Snacks mit, denn die Warteschlangen in den Restaurants sind auch zu den Stoßzeiten mal was länger.
- Überlegt euch direkt zu Anfang oder vorher, welche Fahrgeschäfte ihr besuchen wollt. Es gibt generell keinen Fastpass, den ihr kaufen könnt. Ihr könnt jedoch an den beliebtesten Fahrgeschäften einen Fastpass für den Tag erhalten (dieser ist dann auf eine bestimmte Uhrzeit beschränkt). Es macht also Sinn sich diesen Fastpass direkt am Anfang überall zu holen, um dann Wartezeiten zu vermeiden.
- Wenn ihr euch alles ansehen wollt und auch die meisten Fahrgeschäfte besuchen wollt solltet ihr zwei Tage einplanen. Einen Tag für jeden Park.
- Ihr solltet bis Abends bleiben und auf keinen Fall die Disney Illuminations Show verpassen, ein absolutes Highlight.
- Schaut euch die Uhrzeiten der Paraden an, die sind super schön gemacht und angepasst an aktuelle Themen (bei uns war es Halloween).
Some tipps for you at the beginning:
- don’t take yourself too serious at Disneyland Paris, dress up, have fun, get some Mickey Mouse vibes and just enjoy being a big child again. Take lots of pictures and meet the Disney Characters.
- Bring your waterbottle and fill it up at the water refill stations throughout the park.
- Bring some snacks because the restaurants get crowded, too.
- Make plans, which rides you want to visit at the beginning or beforehand. Because you can get Fastpasses for the most popular rides and skip long lines and use these passes at certain hours.
- If you want to visit all rides and don’t stress too much, take two days, one day for each of the parks.
- You have to stay till the end of the day and watch Disney Illuminations when the park closes, it’s worth it!
- Check the timetable for the parades. They are so nice and lots of fun and you get to see the Disney characters.
Der Disneyland Park öffnet um 10 Uhr und hat bis 22 Uhr geöffnet, Walt Disney Studios hat nicht ganz so lange auf, sondern bis 20 Uhr.
Der Park ist immer nach aktuellen Anlass dekoriert und das ist ebenfalls ein Highlight. Bei uns war es Halloween. Wir haben uns dieses Mal Disneyland Park angesehen und haben also einen Grund nochmal wiederzukommen – dann gehts in Walt Disney Studios Park.
Disneyland park opens at 10 am and closes at 10 pm, Walt Disney Studios closes a bit earlier at 8 pm.
The park are always decorated according to the current season (for us it was Halloween, since we visited Disneyland Paris in October). We only visited Disneyland Park, but have a reason to come back – to visit Walt Disney Studios Park.
Eingeteilt ist Disneyland Park in vier Themen: Adventureland, Fantasyland, Frontierland, Discoveryland und die Mainstreet USA.
Im Frontierland, Adventureland und Discoveryland sind gemischte Fahrgeschäfte wie Achterbahnen, Wildwasserbahn usw. zu finden. Das Fantasyland ist eher für Kinder geeignet und umfasst Fahrgeschäfte angeleht an Disneyfilme wie Alice im Wunderland, Dumbo, Pinocchio, Peter Pan usw.
Disneyland Park is divided in four themes: Adventureland, Fantasyland, Frontierland, Discoveryland and the Mainstreet USA.
At Frontierland, Adventureland and Discoveryland the rides are mix of rollercoasters and slower rides. Fantasyland is more for smaller children and those who love Disney movies.
Meine Highlights der Fahrgeschäfte waren: Big Thunder Mountain (eine Holzachterbahn), Hyperspace Mountain (indoor Achterbahn, dunkel) und das komplette Fantasyland, weil ich Disney Filme einfach liebe.
Ein weiteres Highlight waren die Paraden, denn dort wurden die kompletten Disney Figuren gezeigt, es wurde gesungen und getanzt und alle hatten Spaß.
My highlight rides were: Big Thunder Mountain (a wood rollercoaster), Hyperspace Mountain (indoor rollercoaster, dark) and the entire Fantasyland because I love Disney movies. Another highlight were the seasonal parades.
Mein absolutes Highlight war jedoch die Disney Illuminations Show um 22 Uhr. Eine Feuerwerk- Lasershow: Projektionen auf dem Dornröschenschloss, besonderer Lichteffekte, tanzender Wasserfontänen, einem fulminanten Feuerwerk und vielen weiteren beeindruckenden Spezialeffekten. Micky reist mit dem Publikum durch die bewegenden Geschichten der großen Disney und Pixar Filme der letzten 25 Jahre wie „Der König der Löwen, „Arielle, die Meerjungfrau“, „Findet Nemo“ und „Die Eiskönigin – völlig unverfroren“. Für mich eines der schönsten Feuerwerke, das ich je gesehen habe. Ihr könnt die Videos auf meinem Instagram Account unter den Highlight Paris finden.
Natürlich habe ich auch reichlich Bilder für euch gemacht, die ihr euch gerne anschauen könnt und die euch hoffentlich Lust auf Disneyland Paris machen.
But my absolute Highlight was Disney Illuminations, a firework laser show at 10 pm in the dark and a projection on the Disney castle. I took lots of videos, which you can find on my Instagram under Highlights Paris. It was one of the most beautiful fireworks I have ever seen.

When in Paris….
- Mache Bilder mit dem Eiffelturm
Ich liebe den Eiffelturm, auch wenn ich mich nicht traue hochzufahren (Höhenangst). Aber er ist und bleibt eines meiner liebsten Bildmotive in Paris.
Die besten Foto-Spots sind in den Straßen um den Eiffelturm oder vom Place de Varsovie mit dem Eiffelturm im Hintergrund.
Für 25€ könnt ihr mit dem Aufzug den Turm hoch und runterfahren.
- Entdecke die Straßen Paris und die wunderschönen Türen
Ich finde die Straßen von Paris einfach wunderschön, die Häuser, die Geschäfte, die Cafés und die Türen. Es gibt ganz tolle Schätze zu entdecken und wie ihr sehen könnt (weiter unten) auch viele verschiedene, wunderschöne Türen.
- Schlendern über die Champs-Élysées
Ein absolutes Muss in Paris. Diese Straße ist einfach die Shoppingstraße in Paris, es ist immer was los und sie ist vor allem im Winter richtig schön dekoriert.
- Savoir-vivre
Es sich in Paris gut gehen lassen ist nicht schwer. Ihr könnt euch kulinarisch austobe in den verschiedenen Restaurants, etwas shoppen und euch mal was gönnen und einfach Baguette mit Käse genießen. Am Wochenende gibt es einige Flohmärkte in den Straßen und dort findet man ab und an einen ganz besonderen Schatz als Souvenir. Wenn ihr Kunst mögt bietet Paris eine große Auswahl an Museen. Lasst euch von den Häusern und dem Flair der Stadt inspirieren und genießt einen Spaziergang an der Seine, küsst euren Liebsten/eure Liebste auf der Pont Neuf.
When in Paris….
- Take pictures at the Eiffel Tower
I love the Eiffel Tower, but I am scared to climb it.
However it is one of my favorite shots in Paris. The best photo spots are from around the streets of the Tower or at the Place de Varsovie with the Eiffel Tower in the background.
For 25€ you can climb the Tower, if you are brave enough.
- Discover the streets of Paris and the beautiful doors
I love walking around Paris and discovering something new around every corner. The cafés, stores and photogenic spots. And this time I found lots of beautiful old doors.
- Strolling at Champs-Élysées
A must when being in Paris. The shopping street with lots of high fashion stores and beautifully decorated in winter.
- Savoir-vivre
If you are in Paris, just enjoy the French food – overall cheese. You can eat out in the amazing restaurants, shop till you drop and have a cafe au lait. On the weekend you will find some vintage markets in the streets and find some great finds and souvenirs there. If you like art visit one of the museums at Paris. And just enjoy the flair of this beautiful and photogenic city, have a walk at the Seine and kiss your lover at Pont Neuf.
