Und hier ist schon der zweite Teil des Cologne Food Guide und auch dieses Mal habe ich mir viel Gedanken über Restaurants und Cafes gemacht, die für euch interessant sein könnten.

Auf der Zülpicher Straße, leicht zu erreichen, findet ihr Lenny & Pino’s und dort gibt es Eis und Waffel – aber sooooo cool und lecker. Eröffnet wurde im März 2018 und das mit Liebe zum Detail. Das Cafe an sich ist super süß im retro Style und die Eissorten sind auch sehr besonders, genauso wie die Waffeln, denn es handelt sich um Eggwaffeln (Waffeln mit Hubbeln). Es gibt auch Milkshakes dort bzw. „Freak-Shakes“. Wenn man sich die Bilder ansieht, weiß man warum ;) Das Eis ist sogar in veganen Sorten erhältlich.
Located at Zülpicher Straße (just take the tram to Zülpicher Platz) you will find Lenny & Pino’s and lots of yummy ice-cream (even vegan) and waffles. It has opened in March 2018 and is such a cute and lovely place (and lots of space and seats too). The cafe is an instagrammable place itself offering you a selection of ice-cream and egg waffles. You may also choose to have a so called „freak-shake“ (a very huge milkshake and around 6€, same goes for the waffles). If you look at these pictures you will want to pay them a visit, right ;)
Fast immer ausgebucht und sehr schick und edel. Aber ich liebe das Noa, weil das Essen mich nie enttäuscht. Eine cross-mediterane Küche mit tollen Optionen und schönen Ambiente. Das Noa erreicht ihr, indem ihr zum Friesen- oder Rudolfsplatz fahrt und noch ein paar Minuten lauft. Wie gesagt, am besten reservieren, wenn ihr zum Abendessen hingehen wollt. Mein Lieblingsgericht war bisher immer Manti in Minzsauce (aber jetzt bin ich Vegetarier). Also sind für mich nun die Flammkuchen und Ofenkartoffeln super Optionen und auch sehr lecker. Die Preise sind meiner Meinung nach im mittleren Niveau und im Sommer kann man schön draußen sitzen.
Most of the time fully booked and very chic and exquisite. I love Noa because the food there is amazing and never disappoints me. A mix of cross-mediterranean dishes with lots of options and great flair. Noa is located at Maastrichter Straße and you can easily reach it by walking from Friesen- or Rudolfsplatz. My favorite dish was Manti with mint yoghurt sauce (but now I am veggie). So I now oder baked oven potatoes and I love them. Prices are middle class I would say and in summer you can enjoy a glass of vino outside.
Der beste Burgerladen in Köln (meiner Meinung nach und ich habe schon so einige getestet, als ich noch Fleisch gegessen habe). Bei der Fetten Kuh in der Südstadt ist es immer voll und die Sitzmöglichkeiten sind begrenzt. Es gibt auch keine Riesenauswahl, sondern das wichtigste: ca. 6 verschiedene Burger, einen Burger der Woche, Pommes (selbst gemacht und mit sehr coolen frischen Saucen), Salat und Steak. Insgesamt vielleicht 12 Gerichte, aber dafür sehr gut und hochwertig. Alles frisch und vorzugsweise regional. Es gibt sogar einen Veggie-Grill und Veggie Optionen. Die Veganer können die tollen Pommes mit veganen Saucen genießen oder Salat.
The best burger place in town (if you ask me and I tried a lot of burger places when I still ate meat). The Fette Kuh is located in the Südstadt and is always packed. Tables and seats are limited, the person that eats gets one. The selection of burgers is usually 6 options and a burger of the week, fries (made freshly with amazing sauces), salad and steak. In total maybe 12 dishes, but they are very high quality and absolute foodporn. Everything is made freshly and regional and they even have a veggie grill and veggie burger options. Vegans may eat the fries with the vegan sauces or a salad.
