BARC 4 Bali Dogs

Es war eigentlich geplant diesen Sommer noch einmal nach Bali zu fliegen, weil es mir letztes Jahr so gut dort gefallen hat. Leider kommt es ja immer anders als man denkt, daher ist Bali auf nächstes Jahr verschoben.

Ich hatte mir dennoch vorgenommen einige örtliche Tierschutzorganisationen zu besuchen und dort einen Tag zu helfen und zu verbringen. Da ich selbst einen kleinen Pomeranian habe liegen mir Hunde einfach extrem am Herzen. Wer schon einmal auf Bali war, weiß, dass es dort extrem viele Straßenhunde gibt und auch Tollwut ein Thema ist. Erst kürzlich habe ich einen Artikel darüber gelesen, dass die Straßenhunde auch gefangen werden und den Touristen Hundefleisch untergejubelt wird. Für mich unvorstellbar, nicht nur aus Tierschutz Sicht, sondern auch gesundheitlich.

Daher finde ich es bemerkenswert, wie kleine Organisationen gegen diese Machenschaften vorgehen und gegen den Meat Trade in Bali kämpfen. Ich find es bewundernswert, dass diese Menschen, die selbst so wenig haben, sich dennoch so sehr engagieren für Hunde.

BARC 4 Bali Dogs war eine Organisation, die ich eigentlich besuchen wollte. Ich folge ihnen schon lange auf Instagram und wollte eigentlich Spenden mit mir nach Bali bringen. Leider geht es jetzt dieses Jahr nicht mehr (gespendet habe ich trotzdem, aber persönlich wird dann erst nächste Jahr möglich sein). Daher bitte ich euch, schaut euch die Seite an und wenn ihr gut findet, was die Leute vor Ort schaffen, dann unterstützt sie mit einer kleinen Spende. Es muss ja nicht viel sein. Uns hier in Deutschlang geht es so gut und auch unseren Hunden geht es gut (ich beziehe mich nicht auf Tierheime). Daher ünterstützt BARC 4 Bali Dogs, wenn ihr wollt und könnt und ich verspreche euch, wenn ich nächstes Jahr in Bali sein werde, gibt es Fotos und Videos und einen Bericht von mir.

Actually it was planned to go to Bali this summer because I loved it there so much last year. But as you know, sometimes plans don’t quite work out and so we had to postpone it to next year.

I had planned for myself when being in Bali to visit local animal care organization and to be with them for a day, hang out with them and help wherever I can. I have a little Pom myself and so dogs are very very dear to me. If you have ever been to Bali you might have noticed that there are lots of street dogs and rabbis is still an issue there. I just recently read an article about the dog meat trade in Bali and how tourists are eating dog meat and have no idea about it. I just can’t imagine how people can do this, not only with regards to the dogs but also with regards to possible health issues.

So I think it is amazing that little organizations fight against these illegal things like the meat trade in bali and try to give dogs a shelter, take care of them, provide vaccinations and healthcare. I admire these people for doing this work. They have so little but still give all they have to animals. We should all take them as an example of how good our life is and what we can give in return.

BARC 4 Bali Dogs is an organization that I wanted to visit so bad. I followed them on Instagram for a while and wanted to make a personal donation when I would be in Bali. Well this year it is not happening (I still made a donation, but personal is not possible). So I ask you to look at their homepage, see what they do and if you can and want support them.
